Sai Baba - The ultimate companion

Today, 9th Oct 2025, was an important day where I conducted a 3 hour coaching workshop for over 50 top talent executives in my company. My time as the master trainer was booked months in advance by global HR team. I was looking forward to the event. I prepared well, still I was nervous for one reason. My entire family was sick with a throat infection for over a week. Both my wife and daughter cannot even speak as thier vocal cords are affected. I was staying in the same house and did my best to stay away from them, lest I get infected before this important event where I need to speak.

Yesterday I was having mild throat pain. But my voice was ok. Today morning the mild pain continued. I prayed to swami sai baba today morning and sought his blessing and help, to ensure I do the 3 hour speaking without any throat issue affecting my vocal chords. I applied sai baba vibhuti.

Took my morning coffee and opened the newspaper at 6.30am. To my surprise I saw, in the newspaper Sai Babas photo with his orange robe and curly hair and a big smile almost acknowledging my prayer just few minutes back. Then I rubbed my eyes and looked closely again, it was a hollywood actress smiling. I knew immediatly swami was conveying to me, that I listened to your prayers and your event will go smoothly.

Then, as I was planning to wear my favorite blue shirt, I got a pop up message from the organizers, requesting me to wear a white shirt. As all the staff and participants were given white t shirt including me. BTW this is rare in HP, where our dress is usually in shades of blue.

The only white shirt I had was a half shirt which I use for my regular Narayana Seva (Feeding the needy) activities in Sathya Sai organization. And the last time I wore the shirt was, when I was a biker escort to the sai baba ratham which came into my locality of JP nagar in Bangalore.

I wore that shirt. Then my jacket. Went to office. I delivered the session impeccably as planned. Key talent participants, many of them with over 20 years work experience in HP, rated my session as among the best sessions. I felt satisfied after delivering a workshop for over three and half hours. I finished my session at 3.00pm. I got into my car. At 4.30pm I got a sharp pain in my throat. I could not even swallow my spit. I reached home at 6.30pm met the doctor. He confirmed I have severe LRTI Lower respiratory tract infection and my vocal cords are affected. Advised rest for 5 days and gave a medical certificate. I applied leave in office till next Tuesday to take rest.

As I'm preparing to sleep, I was reflecting via this post, how swami saved the day and escorted me and kept my voice perfect, right through the 3 and half hours workshop. All things happening below are not coincidences but sai incidents

1. Why must I see vision of Sai Baba immediately after i apply vibhuthi.

2. Why must a Hollywood actress have orange robe and curly hair like sai baba?

3. Why must HP company organizers ask me to wear white shirt?

4. Why must the only white shirt available be the last one where I did the bike escort for swami ratham?

5. Why must the company give all of us a white T shirt? Its so rare the last time it happened was 2014 and I recorded that with subbu sir.

6. Why when my whole family was affected by throat pain, my pain started to become intense exactly 30 min after my workshop?

I escorted Sai Baba on his Ratham with my motorcycle. He accompanied me through the entire 3 hour workshop protecting my vocal cords and my reputation as a good trainer who showed up and delivered.

He is the "Antaryami" or "controller from within," and the Supersoul residing in the heart of all his devotees.

Man gets and forgets, God gives and forgives. Thought of writing this lest we forget.
